Question:

What all is needed for CA Disk to be compatible when upgrading to z/OS 2.3 which became GA September 29, 2017?

Environment:
z/OS 2.3
Answer:

Regarding the compatibility of Ca Disk with z/OS 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, please see the „z/OS Compatibilty Matrix“ under Link:
https://support.ca.com/phpdocs/0/MSPSaccount/COMPAT/zos_compat.HTML

The „z/OS Compatibilty Matrix“ shows still „TBD“ for z/OS 2.3 and some of our products. However, the current status with z/OS 2.3 for CA Disk is compatible with the following PTFS applied: RO97457 RO98760 RO98801 RO98802 RO98803 RO98903
