XPSSweeper Auto Schedule not generating XPSSweeper log.


Autosweep has concept of Local vs Global scope.

If it is enabled globally, then ANY policy server connected to the same policy store will be eligible to run the Autosweep creating confusion on which Policy Server to find the log file.

Obviously if you have only one policy server in the mix it always works no matter what.


Policy Server Version : R12.5 and above


-To solve this confusion disable Autosweep globally using XPSConfig tool.

-Enable it locally on only one Policy server by modifying the XPS.CFG file at below location:

Siteminder_home/config/XPS.CFG  as below:


-Now XPSSweeper log generates at respective policy server where Autosweep configured locally.
