XOG 3850 Base Calendar error during Clarity Upgrade

When upgrading Clarity you may receive the following error in the XC_ADMIN_OUT.XML file:

   <column name="resourceId">xc_admin</column>

   <column name="externalSource">NIKU</column>
   <column name="externalId" />
   </KeyInformation>
<ErrorInformation>
   <Severity>FATAL</Severity>
   <Description>This record has not been inserted</Description>   

This error is received because there is no base calendar defined in the application with the title "Standard"

Solution:

Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Create a calendar in the system titled "Standard" No other information is required and proceed with the upgrade.


  2. The alternative is to perform the following one step procedure:

    Edit "META-INF/content/xog/clarityContent/resources/xc_admin.xml" file with name of your base calendar.

  3. Execute Upgrade again.
