Issue:

Workload Automation agent fails to start

The "nohup.stderr" had the following error

dlopen: ld.so.1: cybAgent.bin: fatal: libjvm.so: open failed: No such file or directory
Please make sure the oscomponent.libjvmpath is correct.

Environment:
Agent 11.3, Service Pack 5 Build 904 on Solaris
Cause:

The java jvmpath variable was not defined and hence it was not able to locate the library libjvm.so

Resolution:

We can define the parameter "oscomponent.libjvmpath" in agentparm.txt file.

oscomponent.libjvmpath

Specifies the path statement to the Java library location.

Updated the agentparm.txt with the following parameter

oscomponent.libjvmpath=/opt/CA/WA_Agent_11_3_5/jre/lib/sparcv9/libjava.so

This resolved the issue.
