Introduction:
As a company policy, customer needs to use the IP address to connect their AWA components(AE server and Agents) instead of their DNS hostname. The ini file of the agent already configured to to connect to the CP using the IP address. However, after the agent is started, the [CP_LIST] section is populated with the DNS hostname of the AE server.
Instructions:
It is the parameter hostName within the Ucsrv.ini file of the AE server that will be sent to the agent.
By default, it is set to DNS hostname and it means that the [CP_LIST] in  the agent's *ini file will be populated with the DNS hostname. If you need the [CP_LIST] to be  populated with an IP address, please do the following:

-Modify the UCsrv.ini file and make sure to add the following line under the [TCP/IP] section.

hostName=(IP Address of the AE server)

-Restart all your CPs.
