Within Service Desk Manager a contact record has no Access Type defined, but still appear to have one. Is there a default?

Within Service Desk Manager when a contact record is created it is possible to leave the "Access Type" field as empty. If this is done how is the user still able to log in? What Access Type is being used?


Service Desk Manager does have a default Access Type. If you go to the Administration tab, then go to "Security and Role Management" and open the Access Types a list will display. The furthest right of the screen has a "Default" list, only one will have a "Yes" value. If you wish to change the default open up the Access Type you wish to make the default, edit it, and check the "Default" option on the top.
