Error message:

Windows could not start the TrapEXPLODER63 on Local Computer.

Environment:
eHealth 6.3 and up on Windows 2008 and 2012
Cause:

TrapEXPLODER63 and Microsoft’s snmptrap both run on port 162 and can conflict with each other.

To view what is currently running on port 162, run the following command:

Resolution:

To turn off snmptrap, run the command services.msc

This will open the Services window

You will scroll down to SNMP Trap, right click and select stop, followed by disable

Scroll down to TrapEXPLODER63, right click and select start.

This will now have TrapEXPLODER63 running in place of snmptrap
