Running IntroscopeWorkstation10.5.2.52windows.exe on Windows 10 it shows dialog box error:
Installer UI Mode Error
Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported
The installer cannot run in this UI mode. To specify the interface mode, use the -i command-line option followed by the UI mode identifier. The valid UI modes identifiers are GUI, Console, and Silent.
Using "Compatibility" advice from TEC1179983 Launching any CA APM installer shows the error, "Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported." does not resolve the error.
Running "IntroscopeWorkstation10.5.2.52windows.exe -i gui", the install completed with some warnings:
"The installation is finished, but some serious errors occurred during the install. Click Done to quit the installer, then consult the installation logs at ...\install for details.
The Introscope_Workstation_10.5.2.52_InstallLog.log is empty and file Introscope_Workstation.exe is not created under the main installation directory.
Running "IntroscopeWorkstation10.5.2.52windows.exe -i console" from command prompt (Run as administrator) similar symptoms occur. The Introscope_Workstation_10.5.2.52_InstallLog.log does contain some entries:
C:\Program Files\CA APM\IntroscopeWorkstation10.5.2.52\install\jre
