Will inactivating the CABI CMS database present any issues?

I am no longer using older versions of CABI that used the CMS database. I'm planning to decommission the environment and remove the database. Does Service Desk Manager have a reliance on the CMS database?
Service Desk Manager has no reliance on the CMS database. If CABI is being decommissioned, the database can be removed without concern of the continuing functionality of the Service Desk Manager application
