Why we cannot modify tickets in Pending Approval Status in Unified Self-Service (USS) as in Service Catalog?

Introduction:
When Unified Self-Service (USS) is integrated with Service Catalog, the requests in Pending Approval status cannot be modified in USS and can be modified in Service Catalog.
Question:
Why we cannot modify requests in Pending Approval Status (and custom statuses) in Unified Self-Service (USS) as in Service Catalog?
Environment:
Service Catalog (SC) 14.1 and later
Unified Self-Service (USS) 14.1 and later
Answer:
This is expected behavior as this is not a capability currently supported in Unified Self-Service (USS), only in CA Service Catalog.
