Question:
Why the database object ARADMINTXID  holds the  two distinct rows for the machine if we  deploy the arotadmin war and Risk Auth on same machine with the distinct server id's
Environment:
Products
•            CA Risk Authentication
Releases
•            CA Risk Authentication    : Release 7.x,8.x,9.x
Components
•            RiskMinder(Arcot RiskFort):RSKFRT

Answer:
We could see that there are two distinct entries in the database table ARADMINTXID ,if we deploy the Arcotadmin and RiskAuth on the same machine.

Those entries looks like

SERVERID=3, INSTANCEID=1, IPADDRESS={Name of our Svr1}, USEDSEQNUM={Some sequence number, for example, 17000}

SERVERID=4, INSTANCEID=1, IPADDRESS={IP of our Svr1}, USEDSEQNUM={Some sequence number, for example, 88000}

First record  i.e record with the name of the server (host name) from the above entries is used by RA Server to generate transaction ids for the transactions being handled by RiskAuth server.

Second record i.e record with the ip address of the server from the above entries is used by ArcotAdminConsole application to generate transaction ids for the transactions being generated by the ArcotAdminConsole
