Question:

Why the WARN messages below are shown in the VSE log files if this type of Virtual Services are not being used?

LisaException detail Missing jar file sonic_Client.jar, usually found in SONICMQ_HOME/MQ8.0/lib/ exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: progress.message.jclient.Constants

 LisaException detail Missing jar file com.stc.jms.stcjms.jar, usually found in JCAPS_HOME/logicalhost/is/lib/ exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.stc.jms.client.STCJMS$ConnectionMgr

Environment:
DevTest on release 10.1.
Answer:

These WARN messages are expected, and they are not based on the required JAR's per Virtual Service basis. The WARN message is a generic message which will appear for all MQ Virtual Services even if it doesn't need the jar files.

The following properties can be applied in the logging.properties for the VSE Service:

log4j.logger.com.itko.lisa.test.LisaException=ERROR

log4j.logger.com.itko.lisa.asset.util.ReflectionFieldValueSpec=ERROR

This will clear up the VSE logs and just show error messages when something is wrong.

WARN messages about missing jars won't be available.
