Question:

Why is the TSS7102E Password Missing does not show up in the TSSUTIL audit report?

Answer:

Validation of incoming NJE jobs has been changed to ensure that jobs submitted from a remote system are properly validated.

The following TSS commands must be entered in order to enable remote jobs to be validated and run as they did in the older releases of CA Top Secret:

  1. Define a generic NODES resource to CA Top Secret Security File.

    TSS ADDTO(msca) NODES(*.)

  2. Permit the ALL record access to the following resources.

    TSS PERMIT(ALL) NODES(*.USERJ) ACCESS(UPDATE)
    TSS PERMIT(ALL) NODES(*.USERS) ACCESS(UPDATE)

Additional Information:

Please refer to the to the CA Top Secret Command Functions Guide for more details about the TSS ADD command, TSS PERMIT command and NODES resource class.
