Question:

Why I am receiving IEC130I ‘ddname’ DD STATEMENT MISSING when checking ADRDDSSU using CA JCLCheck?

Answer:

CA JCLCheck uses the ADRDSSU control card processing ADRDSSU TYPE=SCAN to validate the control cards.  During the SCAN processing, ADRDSSU may attempt to open the DD names that defined in the control card.  This results in producing an IBM informational message ‘IEC130I ddname DD STATEMENT MISSING’.

These are informational messages and can be ignored.

When CA JCLCheck verifies if the DD names in the JCL are defined but are not found, CA JCLCheck will issue the error message CAY6125 DDNAME ‘ddame’ NOT FOUND.
