After upgrading Spectrum from 10.1.1 to Spectrum 10.2.3, we have noticed that the startup can take several hours and also reoccurs everytime Spectrum is started and stopped.
This also includes the Secondary SpectroSERVER after online backup.
If you are using Correlation Domains in a Global Collection this can add to high CPU and may take the SpectroSERVER several hours to restart.
The solution is included in the Spectrum 10.2.3 BMP 301 patch.
Symptom: SpectroSERVER may run into 100% cpu when correlation domain is applied to RealTime GC.
Resolution: SpectroSERVER will never run into 100% cpu when correlation domain is applied to RealTime GC.
This is scheduled to be fixed in Spectrum 10.3 and newer.
