Question:

Why does the assemble of my C1DEFLTS macro fail when assembling under V18.0 ? It assembled without problem under previous releases.

Answer:

If you assemble the C1DEFLTS table with some obsolete parameters under release 18.0, the assemble job can issue both warning messages (ASMA017W Undefined keyword parameter; default to positional, including keyword - C1DEF/keyword) and error messages (ASMA080E Statement is unresolvable ). Those can be resolved by removing the parameters INFO, NMAN, ACCSTBL, RSCETBL, and USERTBL.

There can also be the message:
ASMA254I *** MNOTE *** 5+ 12,PARMLIB AND TYPESEQMBR PARAMETERS MUST BE CODED.

Global Type Sequencing is now required. The two C1DEFLTS parameters, PARMLIB and TYPESEQMBR, will need to be coded.
