Question:

Why do I receive the message CAY6037E UNKNOWN KEYWORD 'xxxx' SPECIFIED IN OPERAND OF 'OPTIONS?

Answer:

In previous releases of CA JCLCheck WA, the "UNKNOWN KEYWORD" value is ignored and CA JCLCheck WA continues to perform the remaining CA JCLCheck WA functions.

Because the desired reports and validation may be incorrect, CA JCLCheck WA r11 and above will display the message CAY6037E and terminate with a return code of 0008 and will not validate the JCL.

To resolve this error condition, review the CAY6037E error message and verify that the value in quotes after the word “KEYWORD” is valid. The OPTION in error must be corrected before CA JCLCheck WA performs the validation of the JCL.
