Why do I have an apply check failing under CSM?

Introduction:

I am working on the installation of CA Common Services r14.1 with CSM.

In CSM, during the APPLY CHECK process I am receiving below error:

Question:

Why do I have an apply check failing under CSM?

Environment:
CSM 5.1 - Common Services 14.1 -
Answer:

In older build levels of CSM if a groupextend is done CSM will not do the bypass.

They are given a screen where they have to code the BYPASS. They may have skipped over it.
If you do an apply check without the groupextend CSM should resolve it.

So you have to redo the apply through CSM:
On the first option displayed on the wizard there is a groupextend checkbox. You should not check it off, leave it unchecked. You will have to redo it under CSM.
