Some Eventview rules are, sometimes, not triggered.
 
Question:
Why are my EventView rules not triggering?
Answer:
An Eventview rule has a rule priority which can be set to allow a selection order. 
EventView places the control of rule triggering priority in the rule definition.
When two or more rules, based on the same message id, have the same priority (default 99), and are both eligible, EventView will select the rule with the oldest create date to be the best fit rule.
All rules should be reviewed to ensure that the priority is specified and represents the order of processing required. Otherwise, the rule is not triggered or triggered as expected.
The rules can be defined in the same or different included rulesets.
