Question:
Why are my Global Collections not populating after creating them in OneClick?
When creating a Global Collection from OneClick with a user different from the owner of the application, we can see that the Global Collection freshly created it is not populating. We did the test several times in both OC (primary and secondary) with different users and the GC are not updated. However, if we create the GC with the spectrum user (install owner of the application), the Global Collection is populating it correctly.
Environment:
Spectrum 10.2.x
Spectrum 10.1.x
Answer:
The problem was caused by a misconfiguration in the User Group for the Admins where the Legacy SNMP Community String was not set to "ADMIN,0", but "DEFAULT,5".
When this was changed back to "ADMIN,0" then the Global Collections were populating correctly again for all users.
