Description:

It was noted that DB2 native SQL stored procedures are not captured within a CA Detector collection. What would cause DB2 native SQL stored procedures not to be captured by CA Detector?

Solution:

In order for DB2 native SQL stored procedure activity to be collected by CA Detector, either of the following options must be enabled:

  1. If you start the CA Detector collection using Option 5 from the CA Detector Main Menu (Initialize SSID collection), the "Triggered SQL" indicator on the 2nd panel of the DETECTOR Start Collection Display must be set to "Y".

  2. If you start the CA Detector collection using MVS Modify commands the TRG parameter must be set to (Y).
