Question:

Why am I receiving the following message every 15 minutes: CAS9013A PRODUCT XX ABOUT TO EXPIRE OR IS EXPIRED AND IS IN USE?

This message indicates that CAIRIM (CA Resource Initialization Manager) has initialized product XX and that product is running (XX is the CA solution's product code).

Answer:

The CA LMP agreement for this product is about to expire or has expired and CA LMP execution software may deactivate the product in the near future if the situation is not corrected.

This message can appear if the product is valid and is about to expire or if a user has tried to access the product for which the site is not licensed.
  *  If the product is licensed then a valid LMP key is required and the Licensing group should be contacted at (800) 225-5224, Option 3 to obtain a valid licensing key.
  *  If the product is not licensed and was accessed in error, these messages will stop displaying after 24 hours if the customer is running at a current level of CAIRIM.

An IPL of the system will also eliminate these messages.

To display only the products that a site is licensed for the parameter FULLMENU(NO) should be set in the highlvl.PARMLIB member SETUPxx.
To display valid CA product codes logon to support.ca.com. Click on Licensing and then click on LMP Product Code Listing.
