Question:

Why am I receiving message 'IEC130I SYSPROC DD STATEMENT MISSING' for CA JCLCheck Workload Automation?

Answer:

Message 'IEC130I SYSPROC DD STATEMENT MISSING' occurs during a JCL validation because the CA JCLCheck WA AUTOPROC feature is not enabled. Despite this message, the JCL validation may or may not complete successfully.

If you have recently upgraded to a z/OS release, verify that all the Z/OS level required fixes have been applied.  Review the z/OS compatibility matrix.

If you want to eliminate this message, the following must be done:

  • Enable the CA JCLCheck AUTOPROC feature by specifying runtime option "AU" when using CA JCLCheck. AUTOPROC allows CA JCLCheck to extract the cataloged procedure library (PROCLIB) from the JES2 or JES3 address space, making it unnecessary for you to allocate your system and user proclibs when running CA JCLCheck. The AUTOPROC option does not require any special setup and maintenance. The AUTOPROC option requires the CA JCLCheck CAZ2LOAD to be APF authorized.

    OR

  • Allocate your procedure libraries to the SYSPROC DD statement when running CA JCLCheck.
