Which SVC/System Routines does CA Date Simulator "Avoid?"
When CA Date Simulator is started, as described in PR484454, it installs "hooks" into the MVS routines which process TIME macros, both LINKAGE=SVC and LINKAGE=SYSTEM. After that, every time the TIME macro is issued (SVC 11), CA Date Simulator intercepts the request to determine if the job/user/task issuing is being warped. If the job/user/task is not being warped, CA Date Simulator forwards the request to the appropriate IBM routine. If the job/user/task is being warped, CA Date Simulator checks to see if any of the following programs are issuing the time request:
If the program name is one of the above, CA Date Simulator forwards the request directly to the appropriate IBM routine.
