Introduction:

A customer wants to see all alarms on a specific device during the 8th of December.
Since the NAS probe transaction log is set to 30 days, he cannot see them there.

Usually you would use UMP show historical, but sometimes this is a problem to use due to the amount of data stored.

The NIS bridge keeps his history for 90 days, so the data is there.

Question:

Which SQL-query could I use as an alternative to the UMP "Show Historical" to see all alarms on a specific device during a certain day?

Environment:
UIM 8.47 or earlier
Answer:

You should be able to query the NAS_TRANSACTION_SUMMARY directly for this information.

Below query shows all alarms for that robot on that certain day.

SELECT * FROM NAS_TRANSACTION_SUMMARY where robot = 'your robotname' and created between '2016-12-08' and '2016-12-08 23:59:59.999'

Additional Information:

UIM 8.5 has been improved in regards to the "show historical" problem and should allow you get such information in UMP directly.
