When using CA Output Management Document Viewer only one person can log on at a time. All other users receive messages their ID is in use. Why?
The CCI Client Identification->System Name must be unique within the network in order for each user to be able to log on. If the field is left blank, the value assumed is the first eight characters of the computer name. If the computer names within the network are not unique within the first eight characters then the CCI Client Identification->System Name must be purposefully set to a unique value (perhaps the LAST eight characters of the PC name).
Each workstation must be configured to a different CCI Client Identification->System Name that is unique with the first 8 characters.
- Go to Start->All Programs->CA->CAICCI-PC->CAICCI-PC Configuration
- Select the TCP/IP tab
- In the System Name under the CCI Client Identification label enter a name that is unique with the first 8 characters.
- Click Apply
- Click OK
