No. CPR does not actively search/look for the tnsnames.ora file. The file it uses is simply the tnsnames.ora file that the default Oracle client is accessing. If you are using a client that's installed on your PC, then you possibly could modify your current tnsnames.ora file or replace it. If you are using a network Client and not able to modify the tnsnames.ora file, you would need work with your DBA to initiate any needed changes.
