How do we resolve an "element not signed out" error when trying to Add an element back into CA Endevor SCM?




An Add that gets an "element not signed out" message indicates that the element was Retrieved without Signout.

To resolve the error condition, you can do one of two things:

  • OPTION 1:  Re-Retrieve the element and under ACTION OPTIONS: specify -



  • OPTION 2: Use the Signin action and under ACTION OPTIONS: specify -
SIGNOUT TO       ===> userid
