When running utility program CAUNZIP on zip file containing CA DADS Plus CICS fixes the client receives message CAZIP06W.

Issue:
The client needs to apply the CTS 5.3 compatibility fixes for CA DADS Plus CICS. When the client uses the common services utillity program CAUNZIP to unzip CA DADS Plus CICS fixes the client receives the following messages
CAZIP06W: Unknown Solution Found RO88141.XMIT encountered. Contact CA Support.
CAZIP06W: Unknown Solution Found RO10396L.XMIT encountered. Contact CA Support.
CAZIP06W: Unknown Solution Found RO70937.XMIT encountered. Contact CA Support.
CAZIP06W: Unknown Solution Found RO53206.XMIT encountered. Contact CA Support.
CAZIP06W: Unknown Solution Found RO88018.XMIT encountered. Contact CA Support.
CAZIP06W: Unknown Solution Found RO10396M.XMIT encountered. Contact CA Support.

Cause:
The reason you are receiving CAUNZIP message CAZIP06W is because the CA DADS Plus CICS fixes you are unziping are load module replacement fixes. Load module replacement fixes cannot be processed by the CAUNZIP utility program.
 
Resolution:
In order to receive and apply the CA DADS Plus CICS fixes you have to use another method to process the fixes.
The CA DADS Plus CICS Load module replacement fixes require you to do a TSO receive on the FIX.XMIT file to create the load library.
 
For example if you browse the fix description on the CA web site support.ca.com  for fix RO10396 you will find the following instructions on how to process the load module replacement fix.

 PROBLEM RESOLUTION:  Apply the following PTF to the system as follows:
 
 1) THIS PTF SUPERSEDES AND INCLUDES ALL FIXES WRITTEN  FOR
    CA-DADS/PLUS-MVS  SINCE GENLEVEL 0507 SERVICE PACK 2 AS
    OF AUGUST 07 2009, BUT INTRODUCES NO NEW MAINTENANCE. IT
    CORRECTS PTF CONSTRUCTION ERRORS IN EXISTING PUBLISHED
    PTFS SUCH AS THOSE THAT MAY REQUIRE USE OF BYPASS(ID).
    THIS PTF IS SUGGESTED FOR ALL USERS BUT WILL BE OF
    PARTICULAR INTEREST TO CUSTOMERS APPLYING MAINTENANCE
    VIA CA MAINFRAME SOFTWARE MANAGER (MSM), AS MSM DOES NOT
    SUPPORT BYPASS(ID).
 
2) DOWNLOAD THE RO10396L.XMIT, RO10396M.XMIT
    AND SMP CONTROL CARDS RO10396.TXT.
 
 3) BINARY TRANSFER THE RO10396.XMIT FILES TO TSO INTO
    PRE-ALLOCATED SEQUENTIAL DATASETS WITH THE FOLLOWING
    ATTRIBUTES:
       DCB=(RECFM=FB,BLKSIZE=3200,LRECL=80)
 
 4) RECEIVE THE FILES:
     TSO RECEIVE INDATASET('UPLOAD.FILE.RO10396L.XMIT')
     WHEN PROMPTED FOR PARMS, THEN ENTER:
     DATASET('YOURHLQ.RO10396L.LOADLIB')
 
     TSO RECEIVE INDATASET('UPLOAD.FILE.RO10396M.XMIT')
     WHEN PROMPTED FOR PARMS, THEN ENTER:
     DATASET('YOURHLQ.RO10396M.MACLIB')
 
 5) INSTALL RO10396 USING SMP/E AND INSERTING
    THE FOLLOWING DD CARDS JUST BEFORE THE SMPCNTL DD:
 
     //RO10396L  DD DSN=YOURHLQ.RO10396.LOADLIB,DISP=SHR
     //RO10396M  DD DSN=YOURHLQ.RO10396.MACLIB,DISP=SHR
 
 6) AFTER RO10396 IS APPLIED, BRING UP CICS AND TEST.
 
          ***NOTE***  RETAIN THE PRINTED OUTPUT FOR REFERENCE.
