Issue:

When running the CA Mainframe Application Tuner 11.0 IVP we are getting an "IEW2456E 9207 SYMBOL IGZCBSO UNRESOLVED" error.

Resolution:

At this link:

I see:

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

Attempting to compile and linkedit a user exit for Content Manager OnDemand on z/OS (using SARSINST member ARSCSMP5) results in a return code 8 and linkedit failure.

Symptom

ARSCSMP5 job completes with a RC=08 on the LKED step and also the following error messages:

IEW2456E 9207 SYMBOL IGZCBSO UNRESOLVED. MEMBER COULD NOT BE INCLUDED FROM THE DESIGNATED CALL LIBRARY.

IEW2456E 9207 SYMBOL CEESTART UNRESOLVED. MEMBER COULD NOT BE INCLUDED FROM THE DESIGNATED CALL LIBRARY.

IEW2456E 9207 SYMBOL CEEBETBL UNRESOLVED. MEMBER COULD NOT BE INCLUDED FROM THE DESIGNATED CALL LIBRARY.

IEW2456E 9207 SYMBOL CEESG005 UNRESOLVED. MEMBER COULD NOT BE INCLUDED FROM THE DESIGNATED CALL LIBRARY.

Cause

Missing dataset from the SYSLIB concatenation in the LKED step.

Environment

z/OS

Diagnosing the problem

Review the ARSCSMP5 job output and look for the above mentioned IEW2456E errors.

Resolving the problem

Include **.SCEELKED dataset in the SYSLIB concatenation of the LKED step in the ARSCSMP5 job.

<END>

Now I don't know why IGZCBSO and the other members are not in your *.SIGYCOMP library, but I do know that according to the above recommendation from IBM you are OK to just able to refer to the library where it is to resolve the error (or include as a concatenation).
