When running reports from Clarity UI and Actuate 9 installed: Error "HTTP Status 404 - /acweb/viewer/viewframeset.jsp" with description "The requested resource (/acweb/viewer/viewframeset.jsp) is not available"

Within a Scenario where Clarity Application 8.1.1 or higher version and Actuate generic fix (FP00.02) are installed, the following error may be shown:

  • From Clarity UI: Error "HTTP Status 404 - /acweb/viewer/viewframeset.jsp" and description "The requested resource (/acweb/viewer/viewframeset.jsp) is not available".
  • From the Actuate management console reports run without any issue.


Since Clarity 8.1.1 version there are 'three' new fields to put data in. In earlier versions, there was only one primary field. Clarity Installation Guide does not have any configuration information regarding this:

Service URL -- http://<hostname>:8000
Volume Name -- machine's <hostname>
Web URL -- http://<hostname>

Example (information contained in properties.xml file):

If any detail is missing the error HTTP Status 404 - /acweb/viewer/viewframeset.jsp will be shown.
