When CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) is implemented to use the Advanced Availability configuration and pdm_configure is run on the standby or theapplication server, the following error may occur if the correct Host Names are not added to the Server List (Administration Tab-> System-> Servers)
The error message appears just before you begin entering the Slump Host Name in General Settings screen.
The following error message is written in configure.log.
03/14 19:07:45.481 ERROR GeneralPage.java 273 This server 'Host Name' is not present in the serverlist!! Configuration Cannot proceed
The Host Name added to the Server List (Administration tab-> System-> Servers), is case sensitive. It must exactly match the output of the 'hostname' command run from the command line on each of the individual servers.
