While installing CMDB R12.1 on Windows 2008, during the configuration process, the following errors may occur:
'Task failed (Start CA Service Desk service(s) in db admin mode.). Continue?'
'Task Failed (Load System Data).continue?'
To resolve the issue, perform the following steps:
- Go to Services.msc
- Right click on the CA Service Desk Server service and choose 'Properties'.
- Under 'Logon' tab, choose 'This account' radio button and provide Administrator username and password as shown below:
- Now run the configuration manually using pdm_configure.
The configuration should now run successfully.
