Question:

When ACF2 tries to send a password synchronization from nodeA to nodeB,
the logonid is not changed and and there is a message in the JOURNAL file
ACF01025 LOGONID lid IS NOT ACTIVE

Why is this message issued ?

Answer:

When a password synchronization request goes from nodeA to nodeB,
the logonid on nodeB must be able to be logged on so that its
authorization can be used to change the user's logonid.

If the logonid has the ACTIVE(dd/mm/yy) set to the future,
that logonid cannot be used to logon to the system and therefore,
cannot change its password.
