When attempting to access JasperSoft 6.1, it fails with Invalid license (expired) message

When attempting to access Jaspersoft reporting, it fails, with the following error message being shown;

The license file that shipped with Jaspersoft 6.1 is a temporary one that expires on 25th February 2017. 



A new license file is available which resolves this. You can get this license by contacting CA Technical Support. The license should replace the one in the directory indicated in the Apache Tomcat 8.x Tomcat8 Properties -> Java tab -> Options view;

Also, the new license file ships with JasperSoft 6.3 so it does not have this problem.
