What version of CA Client Automation supports Windows XP ?

Introduction:                                        

All Microsoft Operating Systems get released are supported for a certain time period and then go end of life, just like all CA product versions.

Windows XP has followed this same trend.

When Microsoft no longer supports an OS version, the next version of the CA Client Automation does not support that version .

 

Question:

What version of CA Client Automation support Windows XP ?

Answer:

Here is a list of supported version:

  • DSM 11.1
  • DSM 11.2
  • ITCM r12.0
  • ITCM r12 SP1
  • ITCM R12.5
  • ITCM R12.5 SP1
  • ITCM R12.8
  • ITCM R12.8 Fp1

 

Any version of CA Client Automation higher then R12.9 will not support Windows XP.

This does not mean that a machine with Windows XP will not work with an agent higher then R12.8FP1,

it just means it was never tested and if there is an issue a fix will not be written to resolve the problem.
