Question:

What to do when "License has expired or not valid for this version" message(s) are seen in the Enterprise Dashboard log files.

Environment:
All DevTest supported releases.
Answer:

If you see the message "License has expired or not valid for this version" in Enterprise Dashboard logs when Workstation couldn't connect to Registry, probably DevTest license is expired.

You can verify the below information in the license file devtestlic.xml. It should be in the Enterprise Dashboard server under $DEVTEST_HOME folder.

<validuntil>12/01/17 00:00:00 -0600</validuntil>
<versions>8,9,10</versions>

Open the devtestlic.xml file and look for the "validuntil" and "versions" tags. They will show the date the license expires and the versions the current license is valid.

The license holder for your company should receive new licenses via email. The new devtestlic.xml should be placed in the Enterprise Dashboard server under $DEVTEST_HOME folder.

If the license holder did not receive a new license, a support ticket should be opened with GSC (Global Support Center) - 1-800-225-5224. They will be able to help with a new license.
