Introduction:

CA InterTest for CICS creates a Monitoring Table and an Exclusion Table at startup.  Program exclusion can be accomplished by using either a CNTL=EXCL command or including the CNTL=EXCL command(s) in a PROMMAC table to issue the command(s) automatically at InterTest startup.

Question:

What methods are available to see which program(s) might be excluded from monitoring?

Environment:
CA InterTest for CICS being used in a CICS environment.
Answer:

The CA InterTest for CICS Monitoring and Exclusion Table can be displayed by using one of the following two methods:

  • Choosing Option 31 Utility Functions on the CNTL menu
    • then List CA Intertest tables
  • Entering a CNTL=LIST command
Additional Information:

For more information on the CNTL=LIST command refer to

  •  TEC1307445 - which shows examples of the CNTL=EXCL commands that can be used in a PROMMAC table
  •  The section entitled CNTL Commands and Menus from the CA InterTest and Symdump r10.0 or  r11.0 Documentation wiki

Either method will result in a display similar to the following:
