CA-Visual Express Reporter 1.5 is a Windows ODBC-based data access, query, and reporting tool.

CA-Visual Express Reporter gives you access to data in a variety of SQL databases and to other data sources not directly accessible by SQL, including data stored in VSAM, IMS, or sequential files on a mainframe and Text, xBASE, or CSV files on a PC. Visual Express Reporter connects to any database that has an ODBC driver. Many customers use Visual Express to load tables from CA IDMS or CA DATACOM to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or Access databases.

In order to verify whether it's installed on the PC, check the following:

From the Start/Program Files/Computer Associates/Advantage/CA-Visual Express Reporter 1.5 directory, verify if the product is present. Next, in the same directory, verify that the following programs .dll and executables are available:

Cavx3ret.dll, Cavx3qq.dll, Cavx3abt.dll, cavx3odb.dll, Cavx3prs.exe, CAVX3VU.EXE, CAVX3EDT.exe, CAVX3BMP.DLL, cavx3spu.dll, and cavx3tbl.dll.

Lastly, in order to use Visual Express Reporter, a license is required. The product code for this product is VISEXP05200
