What is the SERVAUTH(EZB.INITSTACK) security check used for?

Question:

User's using TCP get security checks for SERVAUTH(EZB.INITSTACK). What is the SERVAUTH(EZB.INITSTACK) security check used for?

Answer:

CA Top Secret responds to security calls. It doesnt issues them. This is the same if you were running CA ACF2 and IBM RACF.

The question would be best answered by IBM, since it is TCP that issues the security call.

Found the following IBM link which documents what EZB.INITSTACK is used for:

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSLTBW_2.2.0/com.ibm.zos.v2r2.halz002/security_tcpip_resrcs_stack_init.htm

According to the IBM documentation, it controls whether a user can access a TCP stack.
