Introduction:

In a scenario where CA Configuration Automation gets performance degradation and the machine resources are highly used, customers may require CA to provide a Benchmark to determine the best way to tune or reconfigure their environment.

Question:

What is the IOPS (Input/Output per Second) generated by CA Configuration Automation?

Environment:

CA Configuration Automation r12.8 on Windows operating systems.

Answer:

There isn't a benchmark available to be used as a reference for determining the IOPS generated by CCA data processing.

This is hardware specific and dependent on the performance of the machine and performance between CA Configuration Automation and any other products that are running web service calls against (example Service Desk).
