Question:

What is the difference between the GnSNMPDev and GnCiscoDev model types in Spectrum?

Answer:

GnCiscoDev - Models Cisco devices that are not running IOS or CatOS firmware. Supports standard mib-2 and basic Cisco mibs and traps. Reference the "Spectrum Cisco Device Management Guide" document.

GnSNMPDev - Is used to model an SNMP compliant network device that lacks a corresponding CA Spectrum management module. The GnSNMPDev only supports standard mib-2 mibs and traps.
