TIM log is filled with the following messages repeated every 10 seconds:
Tue Jul 19 20:36:11 2016 4013 w10: XmlHttpPlugin: XML parse error in HTTP component
Tue Jul 19 20:36:12 2016 4039 w11: XmlHttpPlugin: XML parse error in HTTP component
Tue Jul 19 20:36:12 2016 4087 w12: XmlHttpPlugin: XML parse error in HTTP component
What is causing this XmlHttpPlugin: XML parse error in HTTP component error in the TIM log every 10 seconds?
The problem indicates the XML Parser error is caused by the "Content-Type:" header being identified in the data as XML. However, the parser's inspection of the first part of the data used to confirm that it is a valid XML, indicates it is not. It is possible that the XML being sent might contain a syntax error and the XML parser cannot process it.
If the exception keeps occurring, try to pinpoint which transaction or web page is causing the XML parser error. Then review the TIM log and capture TCP packets.
Run the tethereal command to capture the pcap file
tethereal -i eth1 -f " port port# and host IPaddr -s0 -w case.pcap
F or example:
tethereal -i eth1 -f " port 7000 and host 188.8.131.52" -s0 -w test.pcap
In addition, this error is also seen after a hardware change.
Do the following in this scenario:
- Disable the current TIM monitor, Delete the current monitor,
- Create a new Monitor and enable the new Monitor.
