CA Support Engineer will need few pieces of information to enable email in OD Environment.
1) Request from the customer the CA PPM SAAS Environment URL, i.e., Test, Dev, Prod.
2) Inform customer the enabling of email requires a change in application configuration file and could have a small brief disruption, so the activity needs to be scheduled during a maintenance activity.
3) Approval email from the customer to have CA PPM SAAS Team enable email in Test and restart services asap.
4) If the customer agrees, open an OPS task and schedule the time with the customer. CA PPM SAAS Team will need advance notice for change management. We would need 48 hours of lead time to schedule this activity and 30 minutes of downtime for this activity to be completed.
5) After enable email is complete have the customer test all CA PPM email notifications.
