In a scenario where CA Configuration Automation runs through the firewall, customer requests the list of ports that need to be opened.

Question: 

What is list of ports that need to be open through the firewall for CA Configuration Automation?

Environment:  

CA Configuration Automation r12.8

Windows operating systems.

Unix/Linux

Answer: 

Here is information you requested for agent deployment. 

 

Ports needed to deploy agents on a Windows environment:

• 7 TCP 

• 135 TCP 

• 445 TCP both directions 

• 135-139 TCP / UDP both directions 

 

Ports needed to deploy agents on a Linux environment:

• 7 TCP 

• 22 TCP 

• 135-139 TCP / UDP both directions 

 

Ports needed for everyday communication between Server and Agent:

• 7 TCP 

• 8063 TCP

 

• CCA Server connects to the Grid nodes over port 8065. If there are multiple grid nodes installed on a system, the port number is incremented (i.e. 8066, 8067...)
