This problem could be caused by plugin "Configuration and State Management Database API server"

(ccsmapi) which is stopped or blocked.



What causes the following Error :  
Error : Sending request to OS Installation Manager [OSM009005] ?




CA Client Automation - All Versions
With command "caf status" check if plugin ccsmapi is running or not.
If it is stopped, start it with :
caf start ccsmapi
If it is running, kill it and restart it with :
caf kill ccsmapi


caf start ccsmapi
Additional Information:
Logs <DSM_PATH>\log\TRC_CSMAPI_*.log could be analyzed to determine the cause of process stopped or blocked.
Maybe some crash files "crash_ccsmapi_*.txt" could be found in log directory.
If the plugin ccsmapi is stopped or blocked frequently, open a support issue to find out the root cause of problem.
