Question:
What are the differences between Splunk and SNMP on CA PAM?
Answer:
While both do send what could be considered "traps", although "traps" are most commonly referred to by SNMP, the big difference is syslog can get much granular in the logging. SNMP is also used to pull statistics and utilization from interfaces.
