Websphere_mq probe not opening in admin console

When attempting to open the websphere_mq probe configuration in Admin Console, we see the following error:


Configuration was unable to be retrieved. 

Message: Internal Server Error: Failed to deserialize the CTD graph in the response from probe: /CBRE-NMS/GBRDCNMSHub01/gbrdcuimq01/websphere_mq 

Resolution: Please check the ppm.log file for additional details. 

Error Code: T-002 

This probe may not support this configuration. Click Raw Configure to configure using Raw Configure. 

Click Retry to attempt to save your configuration again. 

Click Close to close this Window




This issue was found in UIM 8.4 with websphere_mq probe version 2.13.
However, this is general information applicable to most versions of UIM.
This issue was caused by an older PPM version being used.
1. disable websphere_mq probe
2. deploy the latest version of PPM (in this case, it was 3.30)
3. activate websphere_mq probe
4. refresh Admin Console
5. open probe configuration
