vCenter Server with SysEDGE 5.7 modeled in Spectrum 9.2.
In OneClick Console - Explorer - Virtual Host Manager - VMware, the vCenter Server Model does not appear.
The user that is configured in SysEDGE to connect to the VMware vCenter AIM must match the vCenter Server user role that has access and read permission.
Requires Windows System Administrator privileges on the AIM Host.
(Valid for AIM) Requires read-only user access in vCenter for the AIM component.
vCenter permissions can be granted to Windows Active Directory entities and/or local users and groups.
- Connect to the vCenter server using vSphere Client.
- Go to the topmost level in the Hosts and Clusters view and click on the Permissions tab.
- Right click in the open space and select Add Permission.
- Add the user and assign a desired role (Read-only, in this case). Click OK.
