The output of BACKEND variable objects is truncated to 5336 lines, even though:

  1. the command contained in Variable tab > Command should return more results
  2. a higher possible limit has been set in UC_SYSTEM_SETTINGS > BACKENDVAR_MAX_ROWS

Investigation

Use a command which should produce more than 5336 lines on the OS side to test this behavior.
For instance "dir /b /s c:\
" returns the list of files and folders on the C: drive. It can be run on a Windows agent.
Create a VARA.BACKEND object and type in "cmd /c dir /b /s c:\" in Variable tab > Command field :

"Preview" returns this:

Changing the value allocated to key 'BACKENDVAR_MAX_ROWS' in UC_SYSTEM_SETTINGS has no effect, irrespective of the upper limit.

Expected behavior
It should be possible to set to 20000 lines as per our documentation.
